Hey my name is Rick Bailey and I'm a teacher in Boston, where I live with my beautiful girlfriend and our cute puppy, Aqualung (or Aquie for short). Professionally, I teach computer skills to people of all ages, but mostly the young and the elderly. I love teaching and love everything relating to computers, so figured that the combination would make a good career.

During the day, I am the computer lab instructor at a local elementary school. Because most of the children have some experience with computers but not much, we begin with the basics; literally how to turn the computer on. Over the course of their elementary school years, I get to teach the children everything from how to type to how to create a spreadsheet on Excel. It is a very rewarding job that I look forward to every morning when I wake up.

In the evenings, I teach more advanced classes at a community college. I go more in depth on the topic of computer classes at community colleges on the website, but I teach varying topics from Photoshop skills to computer science classes on programming in Java, C++, and html. Depending on the subject, the student demographics are incredibly diverse, from 18 year old boys with acne to 50 year old housewives looking to learn more about EBay.

While I would love to single handedly teach everyone about computers, this simply is not possible so I created this website to give an overview of some options. I hope you find my site helpful come to love this wonderful technology we call the computer as much as I do.
